Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks a Finance Business Analyst to support Workday Core Financials, Payroll, Projects, and related systems within the Finance Center of Agility (FCOA). The role emphasizes vendor management performance and stakeholder collaboration across Ivy Tech.
The position requires gathering requirements, participating in Workday upgrades, building basic reports, and handling supplier onboarding and data maintenance. Travel within the state may be required.
Under the direction of the Workday Finance Associate Architect, this position is responsible for maintaining the performance of the Ivy Tech vendor management process and other financial systems while supporting stakeholders across the college. The Finance Business Analyst is a member of the Ivy Tech Finance Center of Agility (FCOA) team in Ivy Tech’s Business Affairs department. The FCOA team is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of Financial and Payroll applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the various financial system platforms. The Finance Business Analyst must have a strong financial background with experience of one or more ERP implementation(s) and configuration(s) while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university. Minimum 3 years of business analysis, technical business analysis &/or project management. Strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrate the ability to analyze and document processes, procedures, etc. Have a strong foundation in customer service mentality with excellent communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued. Excellent documentation skills (samples of nonproprietary documentation maybe be asked for review) Collaborative team player Proactive, with a sense of ownership Commitment to quality and attention to detail Willingness to learn new functions and technologies Strong consideration will be given to candidates with a background and/or experience in computer science, finance, or accounting.
