Job summary

Barnard College is seeking a Workday Financials Analyst to optimize the College's Workday Finance environment, including accounting, procurement, payroll, and reporting workflows. You will work with Finance and IT teams to ensure processes run smoothly and in line with institutional controls.

Reporting to the Workday Platform Director, you will coordinate testing, support process improvements, and help standardize financial operations across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience supporting Workday Finance processes, governance, and finance operations.
• Experience with workflow optimization, testing coordination, systems enhancements, or ERP implementations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Finance business processes across accounting, procurement, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, budgeting, grants administration, and related financial operations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, support implementation of enhancements, assist with testing and issue resolution, and align workflows with policies.
• Coordinate testing and validation activities for Workday releases, configuration changes, and new financial processes.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and related tools within Workday and connected systems.
• Assist with change management and adoption of finance process improvements and Workday enhancements.
