Job summary

University of Washington seeks a Program Operations Specialist to support the development and maintenance of the foundation data model and data governance in Finance, Planning, and Budgeting. You will triage requests, coordinate with FPB, UWIT, and Shared Environments, and help drive continuous improvement across Workday finance transactions and related processes.

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Enterprise Systems support.
Experience interacting with customers and resolving complex inquiries during high-volume timeframes.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clarity and conciseness.
Experience with continual service improvement to meet process design requirements and stakeholder feedback.

Responsibilities

Triage support requests and resolve with escalation as needed.
Collaborate with FPB, UWIT, and Shared Environments to ensure consistency in processes and training.
Review Workday updates impacting finance operations, including requirements, testing, and training.
Support Workday FDM configuration and data loads, advising on appropriate Worktags usage.
Maintain and update process materials and communicate major Workday activities and known issues.
