Job summary

The University of Washington Information Technology department seeks a Workday Senior Security Engineer to secure UW's Workday Finance, HR, and Payroll processes.

In this hybrid role, you will design security configurations, analyze complex security requirements, and collaborate with partner teams across the UW enterprise.

You will document security procedures, support training, and ensure compliance with CIS, NIST, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information science or CS.
• 4+ years in security framework development and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of information security, privacy frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Workday or similar ERP security.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Workday security configurations.
• Provide advanced security support and cross-team coordination across UW enterprise.
