Job summary

Planet Group is seeking two senior Workday Consultants to support Workday Success Plans (WSP) in an expert advisory capacity. These consultants will work with WSP teams to address 'Ask an Expert' questions aligned to their Workday certification and functional or technical area of expertise.

Ideal candidates are experienced Workday professionals who can independently assess questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide practical guidance to client and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior or expert Workday consulting experience in a certified specialty.
• Active Workday certification relevant to the consultant's area.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent client-facing communication and independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Partner with WSP teams to respond to 'Ask an Expert' questions within the consultant's certified specialty.
• Assess configuration, business processes, and technical issues; recommend Workday solutions.
• Clearly communicate findings, risks, and next steps to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple requests with responsiveness, documentation, and quality delivery.

Job Title: Senior Workday Consultant - Workday Success Plans

Location: Remote - United States

Onsite Requirements: Fully remote

Compensation Range: $100-$120 per hour

Employment Type: Contract; not limited to W2 candidates

Contract Duration: 3 months

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Hours: 40 hours per week

Introduction

We are seeking two senior-level Workday Consultants to support Workday Success Plans (WSP) in an expert advisory capacity.

These consultants will work with WSP teams to address "Ask an Expert" questions aligned to their Workday certification and functional or technical area of expertise. The ideal candidates are experienced Workday professionals who can independently assess questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear, practical guidance to client and internal stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with Workday Success Plans teams to evaluate and respond to "Ask an Expert" questions within the consultant's certified Workday specialty.

• Assess configuration, business process, and functional or technical issues and recommend appropriate Workday solutions and best practices.

• Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and next steps clearly to client and internal stakeholders.

• Manage multiple support requests while maintaining strong responsiveness, documentation, and delivery quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Senior or expert-level Workday consulting experience within a currently certified functional or technical specialty.

• Active Workday certification relevant to the consultant's area of expertise.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.

• Ability to independently evaluate complex Workday questions and provide practical solution guidance.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and successfully complete a background check.

Additional Details

• Fully remote engagement.

• 40 hours per week for approximately 3 months.

• Interviews will begin immediately.

• The selected consultants should allow at least one week for required client equipment to be shipped before beginning project work.
