Job summary

Cognizant Workday is seeking a Workday Consulting Intern for the summer of 2027 in Plano, TX. You will contribute to HR and Finance technology solutions on the Workday platform while gaining hands-on experience with data analysis, process optimization, and real-world client engagements.

You will build foundational knowledge of Workday, analyze market trends, collaborate with consultants, and apply AI tools to enhance data analysis and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Business (Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Operations Management), Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Computer Science, or Information Systems, and eligible for internships within 12 months prior to final graduation date.
• Strong creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with demonstrated teamwork and leadership capabilities.
• Strong interest in technology, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions, with a commitment to delivering client service excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project).

Responsibilities

• Build foundational knowledge of Workday technology and industry best practices, and apply it to analyze issues, conduct research, and support testing.
• Analyze market trends and client challenges to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to design, present, and implement technology-driven solutions, and support go-to-market initiatives.
• Apply AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and address client and internal business challenges.
• Contribute to deliverables and thought leadership content, and participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
