This is a remote position but consultant must work in EST hours.

Are you a Workday expert looking to make an impact in a dynamic, higher education setting? We're seeking a Workday Absence & Benefits (A&B) Consultant to join our team on a transformative, enterprise-level implementation project. This role is ideal for someone with a strong functional background, excellent communication skills, and a knack for collaborating with diverse stakeholders across business and IT teams.

Top 3 Must-Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with a preference for certification in Absence & Benefits modules
• Previous experience in Higher Education environments
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement (business, IT, and vendors)

About the Role

As a Workday A&B Consultant, you’ll lead efforts in translating requirements, designing and configuring solutions, and ensuring smooth integration with client systems. You’ll also partner with our implementation vendor to accelerate delivery by offloading configuration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Translation: Convert business needs into detailed Workday specs
• Design & Configuration: Tailor Workday Absence & Benefits to align with client goals
• Project Augmentation: Act as an extension of the client’s internal team, providing expert-level guidance
• Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate with implementation partners to delegate and expedite configuration tasks
• Documentation: Track changes, configurations, and ensure transparent project documentation
• Testing & QA: Validate solutions against requirements and Workday best practices
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and external partners to ensure project success
