Job description

Job Description : We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Workday Configuration Lead to oversee the configuration, optimization, and administration of Workday HCM and related modules. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Workday and a strong understanding of HR processes. The Workday Configuration Lead will serve as a subject matter expert, driving system enhancements, managing integrations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration and ongoing optimization of Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation (Core & Advanced), Benefits, Learning, Succession Planning, and Payroll.
• Serve as the primary Workday Systems Administrator, ensuring system integrity, data accuracy, and security.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits teams to implement new functionality and improve existing processes.
• Manage and mentor junior HRIS analysts, providing guidance and oversight on day-to-day tasks and project deliverables.
• Oversee system integrations and EIB data loads to support acquisitions, reorganizations, and other high-volume transactions.
• Conduct audits and redesign security roles to ensure appropriate access and eliminate redundancy.
• Lead Workday enhancement projects including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support HR metrics and executive decision‑making.
• Partner with external vendors and implementation partners to manage support cases and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with Workday releases and best practices, recommending and implementing relevant updates.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with integrations such as Skillsoft Percipio and third‑party benefits administrators.
