Job summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Workday Functional Lead – Compensation & Learning to drive the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday Compensation and Learning modules.

You will partner with HR, Compensation, Learning & Development, Payroll, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and business‑aligned solutions that enhance the employee experience and support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting Workday HCM, including Compensation and/or Learning modules.
• Experience in two or more end-to-end Workday implementations involving Compensation or Learning.
• Strong understanding of compensation administration processes, salary structures, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of learning management processes, courses, certifications, and compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Compensation and Learning solutions.
• Plan prototypes, migrations, and Production deployments.
• Align designs with Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, and other Workday modules.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into Workday configurations.
• Configure compensation programs: grades, plans, eligibility, salary structures, merit cycles, bonuses.
• Configure Workday Learning: courses, programs, certifications, campaigns, instructors, classrooms, enrollment rules.
• Lead data conversion and validation for compensation structures and learning content.
• Develop and execute system testing strategies: unit, integration, end-to-end, UAT.
• Ensure designs meet security, governance, compliance, audit requirements.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies.
• Support change management: stakeholder engagement, training, documentation, knowledge transfer.
• Provide post-production support and continuous improvement.
