Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Workday AI Solutions Engineer to transform HCM needs into AI-enabled, intuitive applications and automated workflows. You will collaborate across HR and IT to deliver Extend apps, validated AI capabilities, and secure integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, and EIBs.

Ideal candidates have strong Workday technical expertise, experience with security, data models, and design controls, and a focus on scalable production implementations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building Workday Extend apps in production.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security, data models, and integrations.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, EIBs, and Orchestrate.
• Ability to translate HCM needs into practical technical solutions.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to improve HCM processes with Workday Extend and AI.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workday Extend apps for HR users.
• Evaluate Workday AI capabilities and integrations for business value and security.
• Develop proofs of concept and iterate with stakeholders.
• Implement secure integrations across Workday and third-party platforms.
