Cardinal Health is seeking a Workday AI Solutions Engineer to drive HR-focused automation using Workday Extend and AI capabilities. You will partner with HR and IT to design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled Workday apps, ensuring secure integrations and scalable production solutions.

You will evaluate Workday AI offerings, develop proofs of concept, and translate complex HCM needs into intuitive solutions that improve processes and user experiences across the HR landscape.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting Workday Extend apps in production.
• Strong understanding of the Workday platform: config, security, reporting, data sources, and integrations.
• Experience with Workday integration technologies such as REST/SOAP, Studio, EIBs, Cloud Connect, Orchestrate.
• Translate HCM challenges into practical technical solutions for Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Core HCM, Benefits, Time, Absence.
• Evaluate solution alternatives and clearly communicate feasibility, risks, and business value.
• Troubleshoot across applications, security configurations, integrations, and data.
• Experience implementing Workday AI capabilities, Sana, agents, or agent-management features.
• Design AI-enabled workflows that interact securely with Workday data and APIs.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI concepts: LLMs, prompts, retrieval-augmented generation, governance.
• Connect Workday with MS 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Google, or other HR tech solutions.
• Develop reusable components, accelerators, templates, or frameworks for Extend, integrations, or AI.
• Knowledge of data privacy, responsible AI, IAM, and security for sensitive workforce data.
• Relevant Workday certifications in Extend, integrations, platform, security, or HCM areas preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to improve HCM processes with Extend and AI capabilities.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Extend apps that simplify HR processes and enhance experiences.
• Evaluate Workday AI capabilities, Sana experiences, and agents for value, security, and adoption readiness.
• Develop proofs of concept and iterate with stakeholders toward production implementations.
• Ensure Extend and AI solutions operate within Workday architecture and security guidelines.
• Design integrations across Workday and third-party platforms using REST, SOAP, Orchestrate, Studio, and EIBs.
• Configure permissions and domain security in partnership with HR, Security, Privacy, and IT teams.
• Establish standards for development, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and production support.
• Monitor adoption, API usage, and outcomes to improve reliability and business value.
