Job summary

Baker Tilly US in Washington, DC is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to join our growing Digital Advisory Services practice. You will lead client engagements, oversee delivery teams, ensure successful project execution, and mentor junior consultants.

You will implement Workday Adaptive Planning, design models, manage integrations with ERP and HRIS, and contribute to business development through scoping discussions and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL with data integrations and system configurations.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate financial accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment.
• Facilitate client sessions to understand processes, planning requirements, and KPIs.
• Manage implementation and optimization engagements as solution lead with best practices.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models and dashboards.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP/HRIS/CRM systems.
• Lead design and implementation of integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, and other platforms.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Manage project risks, issues, and client expectations.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and mentor team members.
• Support business development with proposals, demonstrations, and scoping discussions.
• Contribute to development of methodologies and best practices.
• Stay current on Workday Adaptive Planning product enhancements.
