Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to lead client engagements in our Digital Advisory Services practice. You will drive delivery from discovery through deployment, guiding model design, integrations and reporting while ensuring client satisfaction.

You will mentor teams, support business development, and stay current with Workday enhancements and FP&A trends to deliver value for clients across industries in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum of 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with ability to understand and support data integrations and system configurations.
• Experience in corporate financial accounting and corporate FP&A preferred.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple project workstreams, budgets and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning model design, integrations, administration, reporting and scenario planning.
• Experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with ERP and other financial systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning and financial data flows.
• Ability to demonstrate and present Workday Adaptive Planning solutions to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery to deployment within scope, time, and budget.
• Facilitate client sessions to understand processes, planning requirements and KPIs.
• Manage engagements providing guidance on model design, security, reporting and scenario planning.
• Design, configure, test and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models and dashboards.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP/HRIS/CRM systems.
• Lead integration work using JavaScript, SQL, APIs and other platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with client needs and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Manage risks, issues, and client expectations throughout engagements.
• Act as day-to-day client contact and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Mentor and coach junior staff; support their development.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations and scoping discussions.
