Hunt Companies, Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking an Accounting Operations and Transformation Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and maintain training programs for accounting systems and related workflows.

You will translate complex policies into practical learning materials and partner with stakeholders to drive system adoption and process standardization. The role emphasizes supporting upgrades, creating readiness materials, and evaluating training effectiveness across accounting and finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Process Engineering, or related discipline is required.
• 4–6 years of experience developing and delivering training for enterprise systems and ERP modules.
• Background in accounting operations, shared services, financial reporting, internal controls, or audit support.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Workday, Oracle, EnterpriseOne, or comparable platforms.
• CPA with Big 4 public accounting or public company experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work with multiple levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training for accounting systems and related processes.
• Creates and maintains training materials like guides, job aids, maps, and videos.
• Translates policies and procedures into task-based learning content for varied audiences.
• Documents end-to-end accounting workflows and control points with SMEs.
• Develops testing and readiness plans for upgrades and process changes.
• Performs training needs assessments and identifies knowledge gaps.
• Facilitates onboarding and refresher training for finance users.
• Provides post-training coaching and user support to improve adoption.
• Evaluates training effectiveness using assessments and metrics.
• Collaborates with process owners to standardize workflows and controls.
• Stays current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to company policies and standards.
