Job summary

California Behavioral Treatment Center in Los Angeles County is seeking a part-time Behavior Interventionist to deliver 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents across home, school, and community settings.

You will implement individualized intervention plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with a clinical team to support treatment programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma – REQUIRED.
• Bachelor’s in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, Sociology or related field (preferred but not required).
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass the TB test.
• Must pass criminal background check & fingerprint clearance.
• Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position

Behavior Interventionist

Behavior Interventionists provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. This role involves working one on one with clients, helping them build communication, social, and self‑help skills while collaborating with a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.


• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.


• Collect and record data on client progress.


• Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education.


• Part‑time start: 15–20 hours per week to begin.
