Western Nevada College is seeking a work-study student employee for the Carson City campus library. The role reports to the Circulation Manager and involves assisting patrons, handling circulation desk tasks, and maintaining an orderly collection.
The position requires Work Study funds and eligibility through FAFSA, with Fall/Spring and Summer eligibility criteria and a contact for inquiries. Compensation is $12–$15/hr, 20 hrs/week maximum, with schedule flexibility based on departmental needs.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed, this position requires applicants to have been awarded Work Study funds. Work study funds are based on your eligibility determined by the FAFSA and are awarded as part of your Financial Aid package. Continued employment is contingent on maintaining eligibility. If a student’s eligibility changes their role may be subject to termination and/or they may be temporarily required to remain off work. If students’ eligibility is on hold pending the results of an appeal, students are required to remain off work until the appeal has been satisfactorily resolved.
