Western Nevada College's Nursing and Allied Health Department is seeking a student employee at the Carson campus to assist with administrative duties, front desk questions, and lab setup. The role involves filing, answering phones, organizing storage, and helping students access resources such as Nursing Pathways.
Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with 20 hours per week, fall/spring eligibility, 50% full-time equivalency; compensation is $15 per hour.
The Nursing and Allied Health Department is recruiting for a student employee at the Carson campus. This position will involve assisting with administrative duties such as filing, answering the phone, organizing storage items, and making copies. The student worker will interact with students who present to the front desk with questions or concerns. Additionally, the student worker may assist in the nursing lab with set up or inventory of lab supplies or assist students with accessing the internet or WNC website.

Student Employee - Level 1 $15 an hour
Monday – Friday hours between 8:00am and 4:30pm. Days can be flexible.
Full-Time Equivalency 50% - 20 Hours Per Week
Students may not work during scheduled course times
Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (Sun-Sat) during academic periods in which they are enrolled (Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters)
Students may not work more than 28 hours per week (Sun-Sat) during break periods, in which they are not taking courses (summer break, winter break, and spring break)
