Western Nevada College is seeking part-time, temporary instructors to teach assigned courses and support lab operations during the contract period.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage set up of lab supplies and room arrangement prior to each class
  • Manage inventory and ordering of lab supplies
  • Maintain student records, including attendance and grades.

  • Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested
  • Participate in student retention activities as requested
  • Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent in education or experience) from a regionally accredited college or university in the specified discipline or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching college level courses
  • Experience with distance education/web teaching modalities
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Ability to communicate effectively with college faculty, staff and students
