Job summary

  • Demonstrate competency in the subject area and have the ability to establish and maintain professional tutoring relationships with students from varied backgrounds.

  • Use the Socratic method to guide students toward independent problem-solving, encourage academic responsibility, and foster confidence in their learning.

Salary Information

$12.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
