Job summary

CSU Stanislaus invites applications for a temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Assistant in the Office of Community-Engaged Learning. Duties include coordinating volunteer opportunities, supporting events, and maintaining files for campus and community activities.

Start September 14, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with potential reappointment based on budget and performance. The role requires undergraduate enrollment in 6 Fall/Spring units or graduate enrollment in 4 Fall/Spring units, and

Qualifications

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four Fall/Spring units.
Must have received and accepted a Financial Aid award for the current semester/year.

Responsibilities

Coordinate campus communication about volunteer opportunities for students.
Assist with outreach and management of on- and off-campus events.
Create and maintain files for various student, faculty, and community events and activities.
Provide support on-site at on- and off-campus community events.
Coordinates and prioritizes clerical projects interspersed with day-to-day activities and operations.
Compose letters and signage for the campus community.
Develop materials for promotion of service and service learning events in coordination with faculty and other University departments.
Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and the public via email, in-person, and/or telephone communications.
