Appalachian Power Company is seeking a Work Scheduling Coordinator to assist in planning and coordinating engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution line and service workforce. The role focuses on combining personnel and equipment resources to complete tasks efficiently using work management systems.
Responsibilities include characterizing work requests, advising on design requirements, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, meeting deadlines, and assisting with outages.
Responsible for providing assistance in performing duties assigned in the work scheduling process in an area office including the scheduling and coordination of all engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution line and service work force. The job will combine the available personnel and equipment resources to assure that the jobs are completed timely and efficiently using the work management systems applications.
Compensation Grade: SP20-004 Compensation Range: $54,063.00 - $79,369.00
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
