Job summary

Community Partners in Action in Hartford, CT seeks a Human Services Worker for the Work Release Program on 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM). You will supervise residents, enforce program policies, and support risk reduction and life skills as part of a transition back to the community.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, with Associates or Bachelor degree preferred; experience with justice-involved clients is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services with justice-involved clients preferred.
• Ability to work with multi-cultural populations; crisis management skills.
• Valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation; weekend availability.
• Bilingual Spanish/English desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor resident activities in a safe environment.
• Advocate for participants and encourage program participation.
• Mediate resident conflicts and maintain professional boundaries.
• Maintain shift logs and report incidents to supervision.
• Ensure visitors have proper identification and conduct searches when needed.
• Assist with intake/admission, random drug testing, and documentation.
