Qualifications

• Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
• BA/BS degree in human services or public health preferred.
• Experience in a Community-based or Social Work setting, or experience in Case Management Care Coordination.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Adept at all MS Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with EMR software platforms.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research using internal and partner resources to locate requested services and share them back with members.
• Determines need for additional services, in conjunction with case management and provider. Linkage to other available resources/services as needed, such as behavioral health services and employer sponsored benefits.
• Coordinates identification of and referral to local, state or federally funded programs.
• Identifies barriers to plan compliance and coordinates resolutions.
• Identifies opportunities that impact quality goals and recommends process improvements.
• Documents case and compliance updates in electronic medical records.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with agencies identified in appropriate contract.
• Partners closely with internal team and leadership to help maintain and update resource library.

Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Role Overview

Helps to bridge members to available resources and conducts follow up to ensure successful connection. The Work-Life Specialist works in a call-center setting, accepting inbound calls directly from members and client company representatives.

Salary and Benefits

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $20.92 to $26.15
