Job summary

ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology, LLC is seeking a Work Clearance Permit Technician for the KEOS contract at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports Work Clearance Requests, outage coordination, and documentation to minimize disruptions to utilities.

The candidate will create electronic files, coordinate with agencies, and maintain logs and GIS-generated site plans. Strong English communication and proficiency with CAD/GIS tools are required, with a willingness to work on

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe suites.
• 3 months experience in CAD, GIS, or graphic design software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and think critically.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government clearance.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to pass a drug screen.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Commitment to safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-construction meetings and explain the Work Clearance Process steps.
• Provide the Work Clearance Request Process with contact info, AF Form 103 and site plan.
• Receive AF Form 103, assign tracking number and log details.
• Create electronic files from AF Form 103 and generate site utility maps from GIS data.
• Coordinate utility outages and maintain tracking tools and documentation.
• Manage electronic files and communicate with coordinating agencies for approvals.
• Monitor status of requests daily and notify the requester when approved.
• Perform drafting tasks as requested by government.
