Job summary

ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology, LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer - Operations to sustain mission-critical facilities at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. The role emphasizes electrical system evaluation, load sizing, and collaborative project support for maintenance and construction programs.

Applicants must be a US citizen, able to obtain security clearance, and possess a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Identify common site architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical and fire protection components and how they function.
• Experience planning and performing facility maintenance, improvements, or repairs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Proficient English oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical systems, equipment, and applications.
• Determine electrical loads and generator sizing.
• Consult USAF Requirements & Optimization playbook for maintenance requirements.
• Inspect equipment installations, repairs, renovations and new construction.
• Collaborate with customer staff and other engineers to ensure proper electrical system integration.
• Prepare scope of work and cost estimates for electrical systems on projects.
