Job summary

Berxi, a fast-growing e-commerce platform within Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, is seeking a Marketing Web Production Specialist in Boston to build and optimize pages on Berxi.com using WordPress, focusing on conversion and UX.

You will own page production, monitor performance, coordinate with a web agency, fix simple front-end issues with HTML/CSS, and push improvements across templates and workflows. Requires 3-5 years hands-on web ops and onsite 4 days/wk.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in hands-on web execution roles (web ops, CMS management, digital experience).
• Strong experience building pages in WordPress or similar CMS.
• Troubleshoot and fix simple front-end issues using HTML/CSS.
• Understanding of UX, content hierarchy, responsive behavior, accessibility basics.
• Experience using analytics (GA4 or similar) to identify performance issues.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and their impact on UX, SEO, and discovery.
• Working knowledge of SEO/AEO execution and page structure optimization.
• Self-starter who can operate independently and meet goals.
• Strong collaborator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Able to work 4 days per week onsite in downtown Boston.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize marketing page experiences.
• Build 5-8+ pages per month using WordPress and a custom theme.
• Implement SEO, UX, and conversion best practices in-page.
• Analyze engagement and conversion signals and drive improvements.
• Monitor page speed, Core Web Vitals, responsiveness, and template behavior.
• Troubleshoot issues with internal teams before escalation to agencies.
• Solve simple front-end issues with HTML/CSS and CMS capabilities.
• Collaborate with web agency for complex updates and template evolution.
• Identify ways to speed up page builds and improve scalability.
