Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team in Tempe, AZ. You will operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, understand product lines, assembly standards, and installation techniques, and follow quality and safety guidelines.

Maintain shop equipment and review daily cut lists under direction of the Production Manager. Ideal candidates have experience in woodworking or cabinet-making, with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Woodworking Machine Operator to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
