The position emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork, with starting pay at $20.75 per hour and opportunities for training and advancement within an established company with over 75 years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking, carpentry, construction, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build and shape wood components used in elevators and accessibility products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work orders.
• Determine the materials and specifications needed for each project.
• Operate woodworking equipment such as saws, routers, planers, drill presses, and sanders.
• Assemble components using screws, nails, adhesives, and other fastening methods.
• Use hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for quality.
• Adjust machinery and equipment to maintain accuracy and product specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and light maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Participate in cross-training and support other team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
