IDEC Elevator Products in Riviera Beach, FL is seeking a Wood Shop Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will help manufacture elevator components, operate woodworking equipment, read specifications and blueprints, and ensure quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a wood shop, cabinetry, or elevator manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
• Experience operating woodworking equipment such as table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements and use common shop tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable work ethic with willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to accept coaching, follow instructions, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood components for elevator products according to specifications and drawings.
• Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Perform accurate measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembly of materials.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
