Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a 3rd Shift Wood Finisher to complete wood and trim for boats. You will use various woodworking tools, such as hand held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, sander and varnish materials.

This must be accomplished by following the manufacturing specifications while working in a safe and organized work environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable individual who has the ability to work alone or with a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• With minimal supervision, sand and varnish units per specifications.
• Read and understand units of measure.
• Communicate constraints or issues to the team leader.
• Perform physical tasks for long periods (standing, lifting up to 40lbs, etc.).
• Must be able to see color.
• Assist training team members to improve performance.

Location: 001 Holland - Holland, MI49423. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $23.00Hourly. Travel Percentage: None. Job Shift: 3rd.

Position Summary

The 3rd Shift Wood Finisher finishes all the wood and trim going into the boats. This position will use various woodworking tools, such as hand held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, sander and varnish materials. This must be accomplished by following the manufacturing specifications while working in a safe and organized work environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable individual who has the ability to work alone or with a team. Must have an eye for details and quality.

Job Responsibilities

• With minimal supervision, sanding and varnishing units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions.
• Must be able to read and understand units of measure.
• Communicates the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader.
• Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, using your hands and working with various materials.
• Must be able to see color.
• When asked, assists with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.

Qualifications and Education

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
