Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a 3rd Shift Wood Finisher to complete wood and trim for boats. You will use various woodworking tools, such as hand held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, sander and varnish materials.

This must be accomplished by following the manufacturing specifications while working in a safe and organized work environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable individual who has the ability to work alone or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read and interpret units of measure.
• Willingness to follow manufacturing instructions and PPE policies.
• Fluent in English; able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• With minimal supervision, sand and varnish units per specifications.
• Read and understand units of measure.
• Communicate constraints or issues to the team leader.
• Perform physical tasks for long periods (standing, lifting up to 40lbs, etc.).
• Must be able to see color.
• Assist training team members to improve performance.
