Job summary

BCI Brands, based in New York, is seeking a Designer to translate concepts into proto and showroom samples. The role requires 4+ years in womenswear and involves creating development techpacks, CAD work, and design boards for meetings.

You will sketch by hand or with Illustrator, review trims and colors, and collaborate with teams to ensure brand standards while meeting deadlines. This full-time position offers strong growth potential and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in womenswear design.
• Must be able to create development techpacks for proto making and eventual showroom sample making.
• Must be able to sketch styles either by hand or have a working knowledge of Illustrator or similar program for computer sketching and CAD making.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Strong sense of color and sketching ability.
• Great fashion sense that fits with the aesthetic of the brand.
• Ability to research trends that relate to the brand.
• Previous knowledge of woven tech packs and garment construction.
