  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tech packs with sketches, BOMs, measurements, construction methods, and grading.
  • Manage production packaging details, including care/content labels, carton markings, fold/hanger specs, and UPC codes.
  • Lead fit sessions on live models and communicate adjustments to maintain design integrity, comfort, and functionality.
  • Review prototypes and pre-production samples with manufacturers for design and quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Production teams to meet brand standards, timelines, and cost targets.
  • Troubleshoot construction issues during development and provide innovative solutions for aesthetic and functional goals.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Designer to join their Ladies Active/Sportswear team in New York. You will translate creative concepts into production-ready products by managing technical specifications, ensuring precise fit, and maintaining high-quality standards from prototype to final production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tech Pack Development: Create and maintain comprehensive tech packs, including detailed sketches, BOMs, measurements, construction methods, and grading.
  • Packaging & Labeling: Manage production packaging details, including care/content labels, carton markings, fold/hanger specs, and UPC codes.
  • Fit & Construction: Lead fit sessions on live models; communicate clear adjustments to maintain design integrity, comfort, and functionality.
  • Sample Management: Review prototypes and pre-production samples with manufacturers to ensure design and quality compliance.
