JOB SUMMARY

Assist the Women's Volleyball Head Coach with recruiting, scouting and practice planning.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with practice and competition day management and activities for all players, work on overall team strategy
  • Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics as assigned
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
  • Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified
  • Provide positive leadership for student-athletes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of volleyball experience
  • Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified
  • Financial Responsibility: None
  • Supervision: None
  • Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to travel
  • Heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over)
  • May be required to work when the university is closed
  • Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

COMPENSATION/ TOTAL REWARDS

This is a stipend position that will be paid bi-weekly. The total amount of the stipend is will be between $2,000 - $4000.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and employment verification, and other role related requirements such as motor vehicle and/or drug screening.
