Job summary

Marymount University is seeking an Assistant Coach who will assist the Head Coach with recruiting, scouting, and practice planning. Key responsibilities include managing competition day duties, supporting student-athlete development, and helping with credentialing and planning of camps and clinics.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, CPR and First Aid certification, and 1 to 3 years of flag football experience. The role offers comprehensive health benefits and hybrid work arrangements.

Job Summary

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform competition day duties as assigned, and monitor equipment inventory and care.
• Assist with practice and competition day management and activities.
• Assist with organizational planning (travel, community service, study hall, etc.), support student-athlete development, and assist with roster management.
• Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics.

Other Duties and Assignments

• Know and comply with all Marymount rules and regulations.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
• Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of flag football experience.
• Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified.
• Financial Responsibility: None.
• Supervision: None.
• Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.
