Job summary

Twin County Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Women’s Services unit. This full-time night role covers 7p–7a with alternating weekends, focusing on obstetrics and gynecology care, lactation support, and patient education.

The team emphasizes compassionate, cutting-edge care across women’s health. A Virginia RN license and an associate degree are required, with BSN preferred and options for career development within a 12‑bed unit.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single‑state) or compact license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS & NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
