Job summary

Clinch Valley Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for Women's Services in Richlands, VA. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) includes rotating weekends and a structured team approach to antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and nursery care.

You'll perform comprehensive patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document care, and contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care.

Qualifications

• Virginia state or compact RN license is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification within 30 days of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required within one year of hire or sooner.
• 6 months Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify nursing needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions promptly.
• Provide age-appropriate care and accurate medical-record documentation.
• Maintain and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
