Wythe County Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Women's Services team for a full-time night shift with alternating weekends. The role emphasizes thorough patient assessments, precise documentation, and leadership in care planning within a W omen's Center setting.

The position offers opportunities for professional growth, including precepting and clinical ladder options, with a supportive team focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact.
• One year of Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Post Partum or GYN experience preferred.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and fetal monitoring required within designated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care and documentation in the medical record.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient.
• Conduct timely QI assessments.
• Float to other clinical areas as needed.
