Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a Full-Time Women’s Health Resource Pool Registered Nurse for third shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). The RN provides nursing care using the nursing process, following standards of practice and professional performance across assessment, planning, and education.

Requirements include BSN or MSN preferred, relevant ACLS/PALS/ONCC credentials, and BLS within 90 days. Experience in postpartum/obstetrics is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree options: Associate, Bachelor, Diploma, Master or Doctorate.
• Active RN license: multi-state/compact or Virginia single state.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Adhere to standards of practice including assessment, planning, coordination of care, and patient education.
• Demonstrate professional performance in ethics, communication, leadership, and evidence‑based practice.
