Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks a qualified professional to join an interdisciplinary team. You will help develop treatment plans, provide integrated therapies, and manage cases within residential/outpatient settings.

The role emphasizes coordination with counselors and family services to ensure holistic care, adherence to confidentiality, and ongoing quality improvement. English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical activities for integrated substance abuse and mental health services for women with co-occurring disorders.
• Provide leadership to the Treatment Team to conduct psychosocial groups and rehab skills training.
• Collaborate with Counselors and Family Service Specialists to provide integrated services during residential treatment.
• Conduct psychosocial groups on Socialization, Medication Management, and related topics.
• Develop specialized groups for lesbian, bigender, and transsexual clients with dual disorders.
• Provide individual therapy and monitor progress.
• Engage family members and encourage participation.
• Supervise screening and assignment of cases for mental health services.
• Assist staff in solving client problems related to mental health.
• Participate in staff training and quality improvement processes.
• Maintain client charts per agency/state standards.
