Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed professionals: LADC, LCMHC, or LCSW as required credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates unit programs with approval of Clinical Director.
• Provides training to unit staff on policies and new programming as needed.
• Conducts monthly chart audits and competency reporting for Case Managers.
• Ensures compliance with current standards and regulations; reports deficiencies to Clinical Director.
• Provides direct supervision of unit staff with documented feedback.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with patients at Valley Vista.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality per policy and plans staffing accordingly.
• Communicates effectively with staff and supervises employees as needed.
• Provides back-up coverage as needed.

Bachelor's degree / B.A. requirement

LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor)

LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor)

LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
