Job summary

Volunteers of America Massachusetts is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for our Women’s Residential Program to supervise masters-level therapists, oversee clinical documentation, and ensure quality care. The role emphasizes supervision, utilization reviews, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support ongoing client needs.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring an advanced degree in mental health, MA licensure preferred (LMHC/LICSW), and at least five years of clinical

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Current MA license preferred (LMHC/LICSW); candidates within 6 months of licensure welcomed.
• Minimum five years of clinical therapist experience in clinical settings.
• Knowledge of milieu therapy and substance abuse modalities; ability to manage staff and program resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise masters-level therapists individually and in groups to ensure clinical quality.
• Review clinical documentation; provide feedback and conduct chart audits.
• Maintain and document supervision in the EHR system.
• Plan and present administrative and clinical trainings for staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and utilization review.
• Attend to on-call rotation and participate in program operations development.
