Job summary

Gannon University in Erie, PA seeks an Assistant Coach for Women’s Lacrosse to support the Head Coach in all aspects of a PSAC-NCAA Division II program. This full-time, twelve-month role emphasizes recruiting, coaching, and program development on campus.

The incumbent will assist with scouting, film exchange, game planning, and camps, while promoting the University’s mission and coordinating travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of PSAC and NCAA regulations. Pass NCAA recruiting/education modules annually.
• Experience: Collegiate coaching or playing experience with ability to recruit.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and time management.

Responsibilities

• Recruits quality student-athletes and supports development year-round under Head Coach guidance.
• Trains and develops all lacrosse student-athletes throughout the year.
• Assists with PSAC/NCAA regulations compliance, scouting, film exchange, and game planning.
• Contributes to camps/clinics development and other duties as assigned.
