Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of related human services experience preferred.
• Certification as Behavioral Health Technician preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor behavior and report concerns about client health and safety.
• Serve as a positive role model using approved behavior modification techniques.
• Conduct basic life skills activities.
• Process admissions and discharges; orient clients to the facility.
• Complete required program documentation and reports.
• Document clients’ activities and behavior patterns.
• Ensure clients adhere to schedules and routines.
• Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed.
• Perform security checks and searches; manage contraband.
