Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related human services experience preferred.
• Certification as a Behavioral Health Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of the human services field and client care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor behavior and activities of clients; report concerns.
• Serve as a positive role model; use approved behavior modification techniques.
• Conduct basic life skills activities.
• Process admissions and discharges; orient clients to facility.
• Complete program documentation daily/weekly/monthly.
• Document client activities and behavior changes.
• Ensure clients follow schedule; manage valuables.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Conduct security checks; monitor for contraband.
