Job summary

The Willows at Red Oak Recovery in Fletcher, NC seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support women in a trauma-informed, residential setting. You will provide direct patient care, assist with assessments, and help implement individualized treatment plans under licensed supervision.

Responsibilities include crisis de-escalation, accurate clinical documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Certification or training in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related area.
• Experience with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, preferably in clinical or residential settings.
• Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation and follow established protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health needs (SED).
• Assist in clinical assessments and develop/discharge plans.
• Manage crisis situations with timely intervention and de-escalation.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust care.
