Job summary

The Willows (Fletcher, NC) within Red Oak Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support women with trauma‑informed care. You will assist with clinical assessments, implement treatment plans, and respond to crises under licensed supervision, while maintaining patient documentation and safety.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent (associates preferred), crisis intervention certification, and experience with mental health in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification or training in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related area.
• Experience with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, preferably in clinical/residential settings.
• Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation and follow established protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health needs, including those with SED.
• Assist in clinical assessments and development/implementation of treatment and discharge plans.
• Manage crises through timely intervention and de-escalation to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust care plans.
