Job summary

The Willows at Red Oak Recovery in Fletcher, NC seeks a Family Therapist to educate and support families of clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will assess the family system, develop a growth plan, and upload to EMR while providing regular family education and crisis support.

Responsibilities include maintaining caseloads, conducting weekly education calls, and collaborating with the clinical director and primary therapists to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human service field.
• Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or license eligible.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy.
• Experience with experiential therapy.

Responsibilities

• Carry an active assigned caseload.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and families on caseload.
• Complete a thorough assessment of the family system and prescribe a documented growth plan and upload to EMR.
• Conduct family education and support phone calls weekly with each client on caseload.
• Complete weekly progress note uploaded to EMR.
• Provide Psycho-educational groups to clients.
• Attend weekly clinical meeting on campus.
• Collaborate with clinical director and each primary therapist of your caseload on a weekly basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals.
• Co-facilitate multifamily workshops to educate families and develop healthy communication skills.
