Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Women-Children Float Pool RN Part-time to support our Magnet-designated nursing team. You will apply advanced assessment skills, administer medications, and document care meticulously in a collaborative pediatric setting.

Required certifications include BLS, NRP Parts I & II, ACLS, PALS and ECG, with orientation support for unit-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) Part I certification required as defined by primary specialty unit assigned*
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) Part II certification obtained during orientation as defined by unit assigned*
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation as defined by unit assigned*
• PALS certification obtained during orientation as defined by unit assigned*
• ECG course obtained during orientation as defined by unit assigned*

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

The Women-Children Float Pool RN Part-time will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards

• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range:47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
