Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Med-Surg Float Pool RN to join our Magnet-designated team. You will contribute to collaborative nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and ensure care aligns with established Standards of Care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing team on Med-Surg unit.
• Assess health status of assigned patients per Nursing Standards.
• Perform procedures based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously.

The Med Surg Float Pool RN will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ECG certification obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
